Cents of Style State Necklaces

Well. Since life and jobs and motherhood and wifehood and all that jazz seems to be keeping me busier and busier I meant to should have had this post up probably last week. I’m still trying to adjust to the change in busy-ness. But I’m discovering that I love it. But that’s a topic for another post. Not sure if I’ve mentioned it anywhere yet, but I’ve been mentally re-vamping how I want to do fashion Friday posts. Some of the ones I’ve posted make me want to cringe. I was focusing on quantity not quality.

ANYwho, I thought I might put together some cute looks. But as I said -NO TIME. So I browsed around online for a while and found a few things that I liked.

Pastel Pink, Red, & a Fashion Deal.

I sort of have a love/hate feel for pastel pink. I’m not really sure why. It’s not as if my mother forced me to wear it in some horrifying way when I was little. But I have always steered clear of pastel pink. Maybe I’m too pale? I’ve never purposely tried it on so I’m not sure. This top is lovely though I think. I do like ruffles.

And this. I really like the mixed media trend. This is sweet, pair with denim and heels or with a cute flirty skirt and boots.

These sandals. I adore strappy sandals. They feel so girly and feminine.

I love this clutch. So much. Not for any specific feature.

Statement necklaces are a huge trend right now and I love them. I’ve really got to were I like simple more classic/basic styles of clothing with lots and lots of accessories to change things up and set the tone for the outfit. But of course I still love a few pieces of clothing that are statement items themselves.

Now how about some red? I like red things. I like the boldness. But I’m again not sure it’s the best color for me since I generally am fighting eczema and so my skin even when it’s clear &/or I have makeup on has a red under-tone. Wearing red can make that appear stronger than it really is.

They are still pretty things to look at though! :)

I love the bow detail on this clutch! And the color. Ooh la la!

And these peep-toe pumps! These are DIVINE.

This ring is RIGHT up my alley. Two-Tone, lovely deep red garnet, with a country flair (in my opinion).

This deep red satin blouse with bow detail is another top that would look great dressed up or down.

These booties. These are SUPERB! While these are a bit (lot) higher than I usually wear, I love the simple stud detail.
